We believe that the need for exacting temperature sensing will continue to grow especially in the areas of automotive, HVAC and domestic applications. As an example, the family car of today may have typically 2 or 3 thermistors built in; the family car in the next 5 years will have up to 12 thermistors built in. As microprocessors begin to be more prevalent in domestic appliances and white goods, then the need for accurate temperature sensing will increase dramatically.
