"The growth of our business has been excellent. In order to continue our goal to be the partner of choice in our chosen markets, we are reorganizing our business along market lines," Thermometrics Global Business President John Carter, Jr. announced today.
Thermometrics' strengths result from its ability to be the best, most responsive company in the chosen markets: automotive - led by Peter Straub, biomedical - managed by John Carter and Thom Bain, HVAC/Industrial - under the direction of David Crowley, and Telecommunications - directed by Ken Wilson. The entire Thermometrics market management team is under the direction of Executive Vice-President David Crowley. This reorganization gives each market the resources to build a best in class operation that addresses the specific needs of each market segment.
In addition to the market management team, the reorganization also encompasses a new Research and Development Team under the direction of Rob Twiney. "Research and Development continues to be a vital link to improving our ability to meet our customers' future needs and growth," said Carter. "Rob Twiney will provide excellent leadership and the forward looking vision that Thermometrics needs in this important endeavor," he continued.
While Thermometrics may be refining its market driven focus, customers will continue to benefit from the unwavering quality standards that are inherent in our manufacturing processes. Cheryl Chiesa, in her role as Quality Assurance Manager, will be responsible for maintaining Thermometrics' high standards for quality control at all of its major locations.
General operations in the various regions of the world will be under the direction of Thermometrics' Regional General Managers including Kirk Shirar - USA/Mexico, David Kennedy - UK and Europe, Young Sup Joo - Asia Pacific, and Norma Mejia - South America. Thermometrics realizes that its ability to meet customer requirements is strictly dependent upon the quality and dedication of its manufacturing operations. The Regional Management team is focused toward acheiving the reliable level of service that customers have come to expect from Thermometrics Global Business.
With the diverse markets defined and a bright future ahead for the company, each unit will now develop a strategy that will be supportive of our corporate vision to be the "supplier of choice in our chosen markets." |
